Self Love

Sometimes there are certain issues that go so deep that we can't even begin to fathom the depths of them without the feeling that we are drowning. Self Love is one of these issues, actually, it's probably the issue amongst Lightworkers.

We want to be loved, to feel that we are loved, that we are worthy of being loved. Yet we cannot allow ourselves to feel loved, because deep down inside we don't feel worthy. We cannot receive the love that is offered to us.

We look for love from every source outside of us, except where this problem really lies, inside of us. That we do not love ourselves, cannot love ourselves, do not know how to love ourselves. This causes a deep rift in our psyche that seems impossible to bridge.

I remember a time many years ago when I was still living in Germany, and was confronting this issue of worthiness and self love. I felt so torn, there was such a pressure in my chest, I felt like I was going crazy...

At that time, I was a member /teacher of the Sufi Order of the West (now called the Sufi Order International - founded by Hazrat Inayat Khan and headed back then by Pir Vilayat Khan -his son and succesor). My first husband - Dietrich and I led sufi meditation classes, I taught The Dances of Universal Peace (more commonly known back then as Sufi Dance) and were fully immersed in the teachings of the Sufi path of Hazrat Inayat Khan and Pir Vilayat.

One of the main Universal Sufi teachings is that God is Love, the One who Loves, and the One that is Loved, Love, Lover, and Beloved all in one. So there I was, in the throes of this Dark night of the Soul episode, when a healer friend in the Order said to me "How can you claim to love God if you do not love yourself?". "If I believed that God is everywhere, and in everything, then God is also in me. And if I do not love myself, then I am denying God in me, hence I do not love God."

Wow! That was like a lightening bolt that went through me! I immediately burst out in tears and couldn't stop crying for the longest time. Because the deepest longing from my earliest spiritual awareness was the wish / desire to be One with God! I live and breathe and have my being in God - as best I can...

If I did not love myself, then I was living a lie in claiming that I love God. This realization not only gave me permission to love myself, but made it a prerequisite to loving God! This Satori-like moment has stayed with me ever since. I offer this up to share with you dear reader and pray that this may also be a tool for you on your path.

The story of how I came to Hazrat Inayat Khan's teaching and the sufi path, my time there, and how I left, I will save for another time...I will say that my time with my sufi teachers (in Body or not - Hazrat Inayat Khan, Pir Vilayat Khan, Murshid Samuel Lewis, Reshad Feild) & their teachings, provided a strong spiritual foundation which still carries me forward today.(I was in the Sufi Order International from the age of 22 til I was 36/37 years old.)

Photon Belt Symptoms...

In the Channeling from Maitreya Moving into a Higher Vibration part II, he lists Photon Belt symptoms and by golly, I've had almost all the symptoms at one point or another, sometimes days on end...But these last few months have been really hard!

Just don't judge yourself if you have one or any or all of the symptoms... It just means that you tend to stuff everything into your Body...(I'm a cancer, I tend to stuff everything into my Body and have a hard time letting go of anything...) It says nothing about how spiritual you are or how highly or lowly you're developed...

I've just got to get out of the habit of feeling /taking on everyone else's stuff...
habits are just as bad as addictions, cause you have to pay just as much attention, and you can slide back in just as easily... especially if it's things that we've done for ages/lifetimes/eons...I think the only difference is that we don't go into withdrawal with habits...

We need to have Compassion with ourselves...hard I know, but it is doable...
For those of you who are Healers, It's hard to work on yourself and much easier to work on someone else...thank the lord for Hank (my Husband), He just Matrix it and I'm better. So Find someone who you are comfortable and feel safe with, and ask them to help you with those symptoms. You don't have to suffer in silence anymore. Help is available! Our Body

When I first started on the Spiritual Path hm...34 years ago (has it been that long? Am I that old?...) There was very much the feeling that the Body -I'm talking about the physical body here - was a distraction, a nuisance. I mean, you had to feed it, clean it, dress it...It had aches & pains or itches & twitches that kept you from focusing and concentrating when you were trying to meditate...It took up a lot of time and space and energy to take care of it...We even learned how to control our bodies -through yoga (remember those Asanas?...), martial arts etc...We were taught to disassociate ourselves from our bodies... Whole groups of us spent inordinate amounts of time programming : "I am not my body", "I am not my body", "I am not my body"....Actually, whole generations and lifetimes have spent time attempting to actualize this mantra.

Then at some point, at least in my life, the teaching evolved to "I am also my body". At this point, as we stopped denying our body, but it was an uncomfortable truce at best...Many treated their bodies as machines - Do as I say ! - and wondered why at some point their bodies broke down...remember tennis elbows, jogger's knees, carpal tunnel syndrome?...The "By god, this is my body, and it has better do what I want it to when I want it to" mentality was and still is, in part, rampant.
Then after the sessions I had at the Light Institute, I experienced that my Body has it's own consciousness and that it has it's own purpose and agendas! And through kinesiology self-testing that it will never lie to me. That the body is the vehicle that does the translation of the info (frequecies, signals, energies, light language etc...)in inter/intra dimensional communications. It is the Mental Body and mind that supplies the vocabulary, concepts etc...but it is the Body that does the actual translating. Wow! Who knew right?!

The Body is supposed to be our Partner! It's purpose is to provide us a vehicle to experience physical manifestation; not to be our slave, or machine. Our Body holds the sum total of every and all experiences and memories thereof from every lifetime; on earth and all planets, stored in our DNA and cellular memories -not just in our brains as science claims.

Then last year there came the revelation that we need to claim the Sovereignty over all our bodies :"Claiming the Sovereignty over all your Bodies lets others know that interfering in the perfect functioning of all your Bodies through Implants, Hooks & Cords etc... open them up to the same happening to them – as you have set your boundaries and stated to the Universe your wish. Like a land owner who has put up No Trespassing signs… No one who trespasses can claim that they did not know. Until you claim the Sovereignty over all your Bodies, you do not own them!!! They are open territory so to speak for any and all to stake a claim on/in."

So now the last key piece of info on the Body is that it is our Body that is transforming into the Light body! As our Light Quotient -Light Quotient is the ability of the Body to hold and carry light - increases, our cells slowly transmutes and transforms into a body that can live off of light. (read my blog from August, 18, 2009). Our body becomes more radiant, light(er), hence Light Body....(What has been perceived as the Light Body was in actuality the Etheric body transforming to a higher Frequency level so that the Blueprint for the Physical Body could be upgraded - which allows the Body to access an ever higher Light Quotient level.) For those who have chosen to Ascend in/with our Physical Body, the transformation of our Body into the Light Body is a necessity.

Let there Be Light, Light, Light...

All the esoteric traditions have said that we are beings of light, and now science is catching up.

What this tells us is that we are not only beings of light, we cannot live without it, and that we live off of light. (Some of us live off of Light more directly than others...)
So when our guides tell us that we need to spend time in sunlight for our bodies to receive information and energies, and codings that we need to survive the coming times, it is meant literally, and now science confirms why!

Now we know that our guides tell us to stand in our Light, and radiate our light that it is something that can be measured and doable, and provable! So Cool!!!

OMG!!! Got Tickets to see the Dalai Lama!!!!

OMG! I had written and requested tickets back last year to attend the Dali Lama's teachings -he'll be here in Long Beach Sept 25-26 - and then promptly forgot about it....time passed...nothing...more time passed...still nothing...
Then yesterday, Hank went to get the mail, and Voila! Tickets !!!!!!
I'm SOOOOOOO thrilled and excited!

For those who haven't heard me go on and on about the Dalai Lama...

I had the privilege of meeting him in June 1988. I was then living in with my first husband and our son in Germany in the little University town of Tubingen.

The Comparative Religion faculty of the University had awarded the Dalai Lama the prestigious Dr. Leopold-Lucas-Prize, which is an annual prize which acknowledges outstanding achievements in the fields of theology, history of ideas, historiography and philosophy. In particular, it honours figures who have made considerable contributions to the furthering of relations between individuals and peoples and who have spread the idea of tolerance through their publications. (I mean who embodies that more than him?...)

Now, you have to understand that Tubingen is in Schwabia in South Western Germany, and very conservative. The Evangelical Theological Faculty being very Piatistic (very consevative and fundamental) and the Comparative Religion faculty more relaxed /liberal(in relations to the piatistic group).

So when the Comparative Religion faculty announced that they were awarding the DaLai Lama the Dr. Leopold-Lucas-Prize, well, what an uproar went up in Piatistic rank and files of the The Evangelical Theological Faculty- And I quote "How can you (imagine the fingers pointing at the "Liberals") give that prize to a Heathen (yep, they called him a Heathen!) and someone who considers himself a God (not true but there are Dalai Lama followers amongst the Tibetan who do, that being one of the traditional roles/perceptions of the Dalai Lama...).

Oh my word, the warring parties carried their battle cries to all the Local newspaper, and media...The letters to the editors were (this was before the internet and Blogs...) rampant with Slurs about the Dalai Lama with the other side countering with (something similar to this...can't remember verbatim...) "What dark ages are you living in...etc..."

The Dalai Lama graciously accepted to accept the award...and so with bated breath, the award day finally arrived and lo and behold, the Piatistic faculty members who had sworn "Hoch und Heilig - High and Holy" that they would not attend the award ceremony, in the end all their reserved seats - yep, were filled.

Through the auspices of our friend who was the head secretary of the University President, we got tickets to the Award ceremony, and for the private reception afterwards.

We watch the hall fill up with -if I remember right- about 2000 people, and the reserved faculty seats up near the stage filled up with self-righteous and indignant Evangelical Theological Faculty members. Hundreds of students who didn't get tickets were outside the hall where loud speakers had been set up. No one wanted to miss this occasion...Everyone also wanted to see what the Dalai Lama would do or say...It was the most excitement that the town had had in years!

The atmosphere inside the hall was tense and partly hostile -depending on how close you were to the hostile faculty members...

Then were speeches from various faculty members and the University President. Finally, the Dalai Lama was presented with the award. The The Evangelical Theological Faculty members refused to clapp, and refuse to stand up to honor him.

He then started his acceptance speech - which was one of the most amazing feats that I had ever witnessed. Within 10 minutes, through his presence, humility, and humor, the atmosphere in the hall changed -shifted totally!! The skeptical and hostile faculty were charmed in spite of themselves. When he finally left the stage, it was to a thunderous 10 minute (at least) longstanding ovation - everyone stood up this time - which only ended when the Dalai Lama insisted that as a simple monk, he lead a very boring life and needed to go to bed early as he had to get up very early for prayers and meditations.

I have to mention here his translator, a young german Blonde monk/lama who had been studying Tibetan Budhism. It was something to behold...normally, if your have a translator, the speaker only says 2-3 sentences, then stops to allow the translator to tranlate, then continues again for 2-3 sentences and so on... The Dalai Lama on the other hand, spoke for up to 3 minutes at a time in Tibetan, then expected the poor man to translate it all into German without fault. He even stopped him in the middle of the translation at several different points to correct him - in Tibetan - which the monk was attempting to translate into German...The monk was really straining and working hard. That was also an amazing experience!

Then on to the reception...

The Dalai Lama came in with several attending Lamas, said a few words and basically stood around... I waited a few moments debating with my self if I should disturb him or not , and by the time I talked my courage up to approach him, there was a short line of people who had decided to do the same thing. (it was a very small reception and he left after about a 1/2 hour.)

I went and stood in line, my friends behind me...finally I was standing face to face with him. He asked me where I was from (asians in Germany being a definate minority...) and what I was doing there. I stumbled my answers...
and then he asked me what he could do for me! Well, you didn't have to ask me twice, I had my prayer beads and asked him if he would bless them!

I handed them to him expecting that he would take them in his hand and bless them...But instead, he took my prayer bead and wrapped them around my hands and then wrapped his hands around mine!!!! closed his eyes and murmured something - felt like an eternity - and wished me all the best. OMD!!! (my girlfriend behind me in line asked for the same... and when we got home, she said that she was never going to wash her hands ever again!)

Standing in front of The Dalai Lama, one feels as if one is standing in front of the sun, feeling the warmth of it's radiation on one's face. His heart energy is so warm, you can literally feel it's radiation. He is the most "human" human being I have ever met in my life. There is a timelessness about him, a depth so great yet so intimate, so "human" and accessable. Hard to find words for it. I cherish that connection that was established that day.

Last night I checked on my prayerbeads...they need to be restrung...then I'm going to have to do a bunch of Mantras - Om Mani Padme Hum, or the Tibetan version below: Om Mani Peme Hung Hri

H.H. the 14th Dalai Lama's definition

"It is very good to recite the mantra Om mani padme hum, but while you are doing it, you should be thinking on its meaning, for the meaning of the six syllables is great and vast... The first, Om [...] symbolizes the practitioner's impure body, speech, and mind; it also symbolizes the pure exalted body, speech, and mind of a Buddha[...]"

"The path is indicated by the next four syllables. Mani, meaning jewel, symbolizes the factors of method: (the) altruistic intention to become enlightened, compassion, and love.[...]"

His energy is amazing, and he is not a young man anymore that he can keep up with the strenouous travel schedule that he has kept in the past. He is already traveling less and less.

my stream of consciousness today with a crop circle...

my computer mouse keeps going out on me because the USB port is getting old...
I really dislike things that are design for obsolescence...the laptop is only 3 years old and is already a dinosaur...whatever happened to building to last...?

I sent out in the StarOrchid email Newsletter for tomorrow a picture of one of the new crop circles and I find, that as I look at it, that I feel balanced, warm, secure (for some reason), the germans have a word for it "wohl". In the picture below is a man with a long pole - probably to stick his camera on to get those areal pictures that are not from a helicopter ...That's how big this circle is...I'd love to sit in this circle! Hm.... how do I bi-locate again...?!
