Sanity, what is Sane / insane?

Hank & I were talking, on the way home in rush hour on the freeway, and more than one person rushed past us weaving in and out of different lanes in traffic ...obviously in a hurry to go somewhere...home we think...

Hank made a comment to the effect that he used to do the same when he was younger...just to get home a few minutes faster...just a few minutes faster to get home to his "real" life, versus his "work" life. And that one just gets into the habit of dividing the day into "real" versus "work"....

That led to the observation that that's pretty schizo...most people (not the workaholics who only have a work life...) lead 2 lives, a "work" life and a "home/real" life. That's pretty insane right?!?

And since they are in the majority, that means that the majority of Earth are insane, right?!?

But if the majority are insane but don't realize it, and looks askance at the rest of the minorities; who feel that the life the majorities are leading are insane; as insane.

Then the questions are:
Who is sane? who is insane? and What is Sanity?

hmmm....and how do you think this relates to the state of the world...
